Nick’s Computer Services can clear Windows local and Microsoft account passwords. The reset works on all Windows operating systems.
*Encrypted files will be permanently locked if the password is cleared.
*Microsoft accounts can typically be reset by a user by logging into the https://account.live.com/password/reset. Nick’s Computer Services uses a tool that changes the Microsoft account to a local account and clears the password.
*This fix does not apply to BIOS passwords, and passwords created with SysKey (SysKey was removed in Windows version 1709).
